The old gospel tune recorded by the Louvin Brothers was the inspiration behind this one. A dissipated sot races to see his dying mother, but arrives one day too late. He throws himself on her grave and prays for forgiveness.
The old drawer made a pretty nice shadow box and I like the way the grain formed cloud-like shapes.
