The yellow, Winchester panel came from Chenman’s scrap yard, the ceiling tin came from Country Boy antiques in Norfolk and the horseshoe fragments were found at an Arizona ghost town.

I look at the work I’ve been cranking out in the last few days and it’s dawned on me that I’m a folk artist who loves Americana. It’s the stuff that always comes to mind when I see an object – the cultural images that I’ve been soaking up for half a century…
