10.2.11 Too many possibilities

After having returned from a week-long vacation, my mind is reeling at all the junk I’ve been collecting in the back yard, and all the possibilities the stuff offers…

A dear friend donated the spikey board, which he picked up in his neighborhood and drove to my house, knowing I’d do something with it. But what? Maybe a dragon, a scary insect or the front of a cowboy in Indian Territory…

The crushed vent was a Chenman’s find – to me, it resembles a skirt. I could also bend it into a ribcage… ah, Halloween …

The small grouping is a fraction of the cool stuff I’ve been gathering lately – a smiling pedestrian crossing button (could be an acrobat or clown), an odd metal fragment (suggests a miner’s silhouette) and a nice aluminum nautical frame (always looking for frames and backgrounds on which to build my assemblages)…

Finally, the old typewriter body sits rusting on the back deck… I dissected it after I bought it cheap at a junk store…

How are all these weird objects going to end up? I have no idea – I just know I love them intrinsically, and eventually, a course of action will present itself…
