According to Dante’s Inferno, the 8th circle of hell is reserved for frauds. This is where crooked politicians (I repeat myself) go to simmer in boiling pitch for their sins.
The stunningly beautiful medicine cabinet posed a challenge for me – I didn’t want to alter it or embellish it very much. In the end, I removed the mirror, painted the inside and turned it upside-down.
The devil’s face and arm were made of metal scraps from Chenman’s in Norfolk.
The suffering sinner is made of an old garden claw that I bent with great difficulty.
This is wired and ready to hang, but it also can stand freely.
