I thought the most revealing quote of the presidential campaign marathon was made by the president on November 2, 2012, during a speech in which he asked people to vote, then said, “Voting’s the best revenge.”

No one has asked him what he meant by that. Revenge against whom? The people who disagree with the president’s economic policies?

I wanted to make this print for a couple of reasons. First, Obama’s appeal to the basest emotions of the electorate still disgusts me, and secondly, this “cathartwork” is helping me come to terms with the widespread success of that appeal.

Let the ‘revenge’ begin.
