PFAC opening 01.29.16

Last night was a blast – the new exhibit, “Retooled,” opened at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center – PFAC – in Newport News at 5 p.m. on a Friday, and it was packed.

The main exhibit is a spectacular selection of works from the Hechinger Collection of art with a hardware theme.

25 of my pieces also went on exhibit in the Halsey Gallery, up the ramp from the main exhibit rooms. The title is, “Another Man’s Treasure.”

Also on exhibit, on the ramp walls, are diabolically creative photographs by Robert Sulkin.

I hope you go and check it out. The venue is so wonderful – I don’t think my assemblages have looked better. Diana Blanchard Gross, the curator, and her staff of talented docents and gallery experts really knocked this out of the park.
